Brisbane Lions CEO Greg Swann sells his luxury Melbourne apartment for around $3.5million

Greg Swann has offloaded his luxury Melbourne apartment, seven years after relocating to Brisbane.

According to a report by the Herald Sun on Thursday, the 59-year-old Brisbane Lions CEO raked in around $3.5million for the home.

Swann bought the luxury three-bedroom apartment off-the-plan for a cool $2.5million back in 2016.

The East Melbourne home is located across the road from Yarra Park, and is walking distance to Fitzroy and Treasury Gardens.

It was listed with a $3million to $3.5million price guide, and sold to a local buyer on September 23.

The property also boasts views of the MCG, making it the perfect purchase for any sports fan.

Kay & Burton’s real estate agent Monique Depierre would not comment on the price or buyer, but insisted ‘all parties were happy’, according to the Herald Sun.

‘The moment we were able to open the property we basically sold it after our first range of inspections,’ she said.  

Swann was appointed CEO of the Brisbane Lions Football Club in July 2014.

He was previously CEO of both Carlton Football Club and its rival Collingwood Football Club.

Swann announced his departure from Carlton FC in May 2014 after a difficult season.

‘It’s time for me to have a look at what is out there,’ he said at the time.
