Brookside legend Jennifer Elllison rushed to hospital and put on drip

Jennifer Ellison has told her fans she's back in hospital.

The Brookside legend and SAS: Who Dares Wins star took to social media to share a picture of her hand hooked up to a drip.

"Back again," she captioned it.

It comes not long after she finished filming the Channel 4 reality show.

Concerned fans took to the comment section to send their best wishes and wish her a speedy recovery.

"Get well soon xx," a lot of fans commented.

Another concerned fan added: "Oh goodness, hope you're ok."

The star only recently finished filming for SAS: Who Dares Wins for Channel 4.

She was joined by 13 other stars including Ashley Cain and Fatima Whitbread for the show which airs next year.

Jennifer is back in the hospital

Jennifer is best known for her role as Emily Shadwick in Brookside.

In spring 2007, she appeared in the BBC reality TV show The Verdict, which was based on a fictional courtroom.

That same year, she was a judge on Dirty Dancing – Time Of Your Life.

Since getting famous on television, Jennifer went on to try her luck in the West End.

The plays she had roles in include Chicago, Calendar Girls, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Singin' In The Rain and more.

The actress is married to boxer Robbie Tickle and has three children with him named Bobby, Harry and Charlie.

Jennifer and Robbie began dating in May 2008, and the two got engaged in October of that year while on holiday in the Maldives.

Two weeks ago, it was reported that the celebs joining Celeb SAS include Maisie Smith and Towie's Pete Wicks.

Reportedly joining them to tough it out in the desert will be First Time Mum star Ferne McCann, and Olympians Jade Jones, and Dwain Chambers.

Dancing duo AJ and Curtis Pritchard and reality regular Calum Best are also said to be limbering up for some action.

When asked about the line up by The Mirror a Channel 4 spokesperson said: “In the best traditions of the SAS, this mission is confidential.

"However, full details will be released when the series broadcasts next year.”
