Céline Dion has shared a loving tribute to her husband, who died six years ago today.
The singer, 53, took to Instagram to share her grief as she remembered her late husband, René Angélil.
The couple were married for 22 years before he died in 2016, aged 74, after being diagnosed with throat cancer.
Sharing a black and white photo of her husband with her 4.9million followers, the My Heart Will Go On songstress wrote lyrics from her 2019 song Courage.
Her caption read: ‘I would be lying if I said I’m fine, I think of you at least a hundred times, cause in the echo of my voice I hear your words just like you’re there… I miss you – Céline xx…’
She then repeated the first segment in a second paragraph, but replaced ‘I miss you’ with the French translation ‘Tu me manques.’

The musician and her former manager first went public with their romance shortly before getting engaged in 1993 on Dion’s 25th birthday.
They tied the knot in December 1994 and remained married until Angélil’s death.
They share three sons together, René-Charles, 21, and twins Nelson and Eddy, both 11.
The musician got candid about life after losing her husband and her kids’ father in an interview with Today last year.
She said in May 2021: ‘I feel like René has given me so much through the years and still today.

‘I see my kids. I look at them — we live with him. We still live with him. He’s part of our lives every day, so I have to say that I feel very, very strong.’
She also shared that she wasn’t looking to date anyone else at that point, despite love being ‘so big right now in my life.’
‘I’m not thinking about a relationship and falling in love again. I don’t. Do I have to say that it will never happen anymore? I don’t know. I don’t know.’

The All By Myself hitmaker shared an equally moving tribute last year for her late partner’s fifth anniversary.
In a personal message, she wrote: ‘René, it’s been 5 years already… There’s not one day that we don’t think about you,’ alongside a snap of herself and Angélil holding hands by the ocean.
