Chrissy Teigen and John Legend have sold their stunning their stunning Beverly Hills family home for a cool £12million.

The couple said goodbye to the lavish property for the hefty sum – although it is far off what they were offered for it last year – a huge £17.3 million – before the deal fell through.

Realtor Marshall Peck of Douglas Elliman in Beverly Hills said it had taken some time to sell because potential buyers weren't aware of the property's sale, after it fell through last August.

The couple still stand to make a profit as they had bought the house for £10 million in 2016.

Chrissy and John's house has finally sold

Peck told the New York Post : "It is hands down the most beautiful home in Beverly Hills.

"It features 33-foot ceilings, a sculptural staircase, floor-to-ceiling windows and sweeping canyon views while bespoke teak ceilings from Thailand, cerused oak floors steel-rolled clay walls exude sensuality."

The sale comes after Chrissy admitted she could be in cancel club "forever" amid a bullying scandal, which has led to several companies cutting ties with her.

The former model found herself at the heart of a scandal when a number of historic tweets she sent to celebrities including teen bride Courtney Stodden went viral.

The house boasts seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms

Asked by TMZ recently how long she thinks she'll be in cancel club for, she said: "I don't know, it could be forever. I have no idea.

"All I can do is live my life and take care of my kids and family. Everyone else can make their choice."

In a lengthy Instagram post, Chrissy admitted she felt lost amid the scandal.

"I feel lost and need to find my place again, I need to snap out of this, I desperately wanna communicate with you guys instead of pretending everything is okay. I’m not used to any other way!!" she said.

Alongside the luxurious kitchen, there is a cinema room and a pool

"Only a few understand it and it’s impossible to know til you’re in it.

"And it’s hard to talk about it in that sense because obviously you sound whiney when you’ve clearly done something wrong. It just sucks. There is no winning. But there never is here anyhow."

Chrissy – who has daughter Luna, five, and son Miles, three, with her husband John – tried to make light of the situation, asking if there was a "cancel club reunion" around anywhere.

She said: "I don’t even know if it’s good to say any of this because it’s gonna get brutally picked apart but I dunno.

"I can’t do this silent s**t anymore! If you or someone you know has also been cancelled please let me know if there is a cancel club reunion because I could use some time off my couch! Thank u and goodbye I love u."
