Cindy has recently spoken out about how proud she is of Kaia’s acting debut as Ruby in the American Horror Story series this year.

She said on Tell Me With Ellen Pompeo podcast: ‘I’m proud of her because I guess in that way she is more confident than I was at that age.
‘There were certainly things like even in high school I sort of wanted to go out for, [like] the school play.’
‘None of my friends were and I didn’t know if I’d be good at it, so I didn’t do it,’ Cindy said.
Adding: ‘Whereas [Kaia] did all that in elementary school and middle school and high school.’
The icon said that Kaia refocused her energy on acting when everyone was in lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Cindy explained: ‘She wasn’t traveling and wasn’t modelling because there were no shoots anywhere. She started auditioning and taking online acting classes. She had taken some acting stuff before.’
