Correction: Tyson Fury’s brother wrongly accused of anti-Semitic abuse

We reported on 11 October that Tyson Fury’s brother Shane had been filmed shouting anti-Semitic abuse at Deontay Wilder’s manager at the weigh-in for Saturday’s fight.

Shane Tyson was accused of calling Shelly Finkel a ‘Jewish piece of s**t’. This was false. Shane Fury used the word ‘chinless’ not ‘Jewish’ and we are informed that his comment was not directed at Mr Finkel.

We are happy to set the record straight and apologise to Shane Fury for any upset and embarrassment caused.
