Dancing With The Stars: Matt James and Brian Austin Green exit during double elimination episode

Matt James and Brian Austin Green were eliminated on Tuesday from Dancing With The Stars as Disney Week concluded with Villains Night  on the ABC show. 

The 48-year-old actor and his girlfriend and partner Sharna Burgess, 36, were cut immediately after it was revealed that their score was the lowest after the viewer votes were tallied and combined with voting by the judges.

The judges then had to make the decision on whether to keep The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore or The Bachelor star Matt.

Their combined scores put them in the bottom three. Ultimately, the judges voted to keep Kenya and Matt was sent home.

‘What I love about this show is the people come on and they try so hard,’ said DWTS head judge Len Goodman, 77, who then pointed and said, ‘Kenya you are staying in the show.’

The two-hour season 30 episode started with Tyra Banks, 47, dressed in a Maleficent costume saying from the start that it was a double elimination show.

The first act to perform was country singer Jimmie Allen, 35, who was paired with Emma Slater, season 24 champion. He told her that he loved Disney and had been to the parks more than 80 times and that he even proposed to his wife there. She told them they were going to dance jazz to Billie Eilish’s song ‘Bad Guy’ and that he was going to dress up as Captain Hook while she would perform as Tinkerbell.

First up: The first act to perform was country singer Jimmie Allen, 35, who was paired with Emma Slater, season 24 champion

After their performance, Len told them that he liked the story within the dance of Captain Hook fighting Tinkerbell. He told Jimmie that his dancing continued to impress him every week. 

Bruno Tonioli, 65, told him that he had him ‘hooked’ and it was a ‘bad a**’ routine that was his strongest performance to date. Carrie Ann Inaba, 53, called their dance ‘amazing.’

The judges gave them a total of 35 out of 40.

Jazz routine: Jimmie and Emma performed a jazz dance to the  Billie Eilish song ‘Bad Guy’ with him as Captain Hook and Emma dressed up as Tinkerbell

Jimmie said he was blown away because not only did he get his first ‘9s’ but also that his wife was two centimeters dilated and was close to giving birth.

Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby, 33, a celebrity fitness guru, paired with Cheryl Burke, danced a Viennese waltz dressed as Gaston from Beauty And The Beast.

Derek Hough, 36, who was wearing a gold striped black jacket, told them they had flare but still had things technically that they needed to work on. Bruno, wearing black velvet jacket and gold sequined pants, told Cody ‘you can work a stage.’ Len congratulated them and said ‘well done to both of you.’

Viennese waltz: Peloton instructor Cody Rigsby, 33, a celebrity fitness guru, paired with Cheryl Burke, danced a Viennese waltz dressed as Gaston from Beauty And The Beast

The judges gave them a total of 31 out of 40. 

Spice Girl Melanie C, 47, paired with Gleb Savchenko, season 28 finalist, dressed up as Maleficent and danced the Viennese waltz to Lana Del Rey’s ‘Once Upon A Dream.’

Bruno told Melanie, who was wearing a black Maleficent horned headpiece, that her dance was haunting and that he loved it. Carrie Ann told her that it was her best dance by far. Derek said it was ominous and that their dance was ‘well done.’

Best yet: Spice Girl Melanie C, 47, paired with Gleb Savchenko, season 28 finalist, dressed up as Maleficent and danced the Viennese waltz to Lana Del Rey’s ‘Once Upon A Dream’

The judges gave them a score of 35 out of 40. 

Jojo Siwa ,18, danced the Paso Doble with Jenna Johnson, season 26 champion, to the song ‘Ways To Be Wicked’ from the movie Descendants 2. Jojo dressed as the character Mal from the movie with fuchsia pink long hair and wore a sequined pink crop top and skirts. 

Len told them the dance was fantastic. Derek also said their dance was ‘well done.’ Bruno told them their dance was like watching two super villains battle it out.

The judges gave them a score of 35 out of 40.

Kenya, 50, also danced the Viennese waltz as an evil queen from Snow White with Brandon Armstrong to ‘Dangerous Woman’ by Ariana Grande. Derek told Kenya, who wore a crown and long black nails for her performance, that her evil queen was sultry and that he was ‘so into it.’ Carrie Ann told her that was her best dance so far.

The judges gave them a score of 30 out of 40.

Beauty queen: Kenya, 50, also danced the Viennese waltz as an evil queen from Snow White with Brandon Armstrong to ‘Dangerous Woman’ by Ariana Grande

NBA champion Iman Shumpert, 31, who played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, was paired with Daniella Karagach, a season 29 finalist. He danced an Argentine tango to ‘Arabian Nights’ from the movie Aladdin. 

Iman dressed up as Jafar and he told Daniella before he took the stage that Aladdin was one of his favorite movies and that he even had a tattoo of a genie bottle.

During their dance, he picked Daniella up from the ground and lifted her up over his head and ended the dance by effortlessly lifting off the ground and putting her on his shoulders. Derek said that ‘Iman, yo, that opening and ending lift was iconic.’ He said he was ‘speechless.’

Bruno said it was a ‘feat of magical strength’ and that he didn’t know how he did it but he was impressed. Tyra said she thought it was a special effect. Carrie Ann, wearing a long blond wig, told them it was one of the most magical performances on the show.

‘It was like poetry in motion,’ said Carrie Ann.

When Tyra asked Iman how he lifted her so effortlessly, he said that it turned out that Daniella was a little lighter than they thought.

The judges gave them a score of 33 out of 40.

Melora Hardin, 50, an actress from ‘The Office’ and ‘The Bold Type,’ who was paired with Artem Chigvintsev, season 29 champion, performed a jazz routine to a song from the movie Tangled. She dressed up as character Mother Gothel from the movie.

Bruno said she delivered a dancing musical comedy. Carrie Ann said she was a little ‘cray cray’ but that her dancing was great. Len told them their dance was ‘truly delightful.’

Jazz dance: Melora Hardin, 50, an actress from ‘The Office’ and ‘The Bold Type,’ who was paired with Artem Chigvintsev, season 29 champion, performed a jazz routine to a song from the movie Tangled

The judges gave them a score of 37 out of 40 and they received the first 10 of the season.

Pro wrestler Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin, 40, a WWE superstar, with Whitney Carson, danced an Argentine tango dressed as Scar with a long black mane from The Lion King. Carrie Ann said ‘that was amazing.’ Len told him it was a real theatrical show. Bruno said ‘very scary, don’t bite me. I have some catnip just in case.’

The judges gave them a score of 34 out of 40.

Tango time: Pro wrestler Mike ‘The Miz’ Mizanin, 40, a WWE superstar, with Whitney Carson, danced an Argentine tango dressed as Scar with a long black mane from The Lion King

Brian and Sharna danced a pirate themed Paso Doble. She dressed as the character Jack Sparrow from Pirates of the Caribbean and he dressed up as his rival Captain Barbossa.

Len told them that he liked the fight scenes of their dance. 

Derek told them he also liked the dance fight choreography. Carrie Ann told him he put in a ‘valiant’ effort.

Pirate theme: Brian and Sharna danced a pirate themed Paso Doble

The judges gave them a 27 out of 40.

Matt, 29, from season 25 of The Bachelor, danced the Paso Doble with Lindsay Arnold, season 25 champion. He played Kaa from the Jungle Book, with his face painted like a snake and she played the tiger from the same film. Bruno told him that it was a powerful performance. Carrie Ann said she felt that he gave them his all. Len told him that he wanted him to give more.

The judges gave them a score of 31 out of 40, with his first eights of the season.

Olivia Jade, 22, who was paired with Val Chmerkovskiy, a two-time DWTS champion, danced a Jazz routine to Remember Me from the movie Coco. She played the villain Ernesto de la Cruz and had her face painted white like a skeleton and wore a white bolero outfit for the performance.

During a day at Disneyland before they took the stage, Olivia brought her older sister Isabella ‘Belle ‘ Giannulli to meet Val. He spun her around and dipped her.

‘I’m so excited she is doing this,’ Belle told Val. ‘I haven’t seen her this happy in so long.’

Jazz routine: Olivia Jade, 22, who was paired with Val Chmerkovskiy, a two-time DWTS champion, danced a Jazz routine to Remember Me from the movie Coco

After their dance, Bruno told her that they captured the spirit of the movie. Carrie Ann told her that her dance seemed a little safe. Len told them it was a ‘joyous performance.’

Olivia said her sister Belle was at the show and had been at the show every night.

The judges gave them a 35 out of 40.

Olympic gymnastic gold medalist Suni Lee, 18, paired with Sasha Farber, season 29 finalist, performed a Viennese waltz to I Put A Spell On You dressed as characters from the movie Hocus Pocus. Derek told her that her performance was starting to come out. Bruno told her to keep it going and to keep working.

The judges gave them a 35 out of 40 score.

Co-host of ‘The Talk’ Amanda Kloots, 39, paired with Alan Bersten, season 28 champion, danced the Paso Doble to the song Call Me Cruella from the movie Cruella. Amanda dressed as Cruella.

Len said ‘it had a feeling of menace.’ Derek told Amanda that she was amazing and played the character so well. Bruno told them their dance came close to perfection.

Amanda told Tyra it was her dream to come on this show and dance the Paso Doble.

The judges gave them all 9’s for a total of 36 out of 40.

Dancing With The Stars will return next Monday on ABC.
