Demi Lovato – who announced in May that they are non-binary and have changed their pronounces to they/them – has filmed their first sex scene.
Informing fans about the racy scene on Tuesday, the singer explained: ‘Had to film a sex scene today. My first one!’
Lovato, 28, added: ‘I had a little anxiety going into it but the cast and crew were so professional and easy to work with, it calmed me down immediately.’
The pop star – who is currently filming new NBC food-related comedy titled Hungry playing the character of Teddy – posted revealing selfie that featured them in black underwear while laying back on a pillow and revealing cleavage.

Lovato went on to say how ‘proud’ they are ‘for being able to feel comfortable enough in my skin to do [a sex scene.]’
‘I rarely ever showed my arms before.. now I’m in this!! (Granted, it barely shows anything BUT STILL) I don’t always feel good in my skin, so when I do, AND I feel sexy enough to post – I do just that! It’s important to celebrate the little wins.’
Lovato concluded the post writing: ‘Yay for this random burst of body confidence and yay for awkward hilarious sex.’

The performer – who split from former fiance Max Ehrich last year – has been open about their battle with body confidence.
In April this year, Lovato was slammed by fans after she criticized The Bigg Chill, an LA based frozen yogurt shop, over their excess of diet-geared inventory.
After taking to Instagram to hit out at the shop for its ‘triggering’ options, the singer was subject to mass scrutiny on Twitter for the ‘stupid’ attack and for slamming sugar-free options, which are, in fact, essential to diabetic customers.

Busy: As well as filming new NBC food-related comedy titled Hungry, Lovato has landed a talk show set for the end of this month
In their original post, Lovato penned: ‘Finding it extremely hard to order froyo from [The Bigg Chill] when you have to walk past tons of sugar-free cookies/other diet foods before you get to the counter’, before adding the hashtag ‘Do Better’.
The store, situated on Olympic Blvd, is owned by Diane Dinow and her daughter Cary Russell, who revealed in 2011 that they average 1,000 customers a day in the week and up to 1,300 at the weekends.
Lovato accused the the shop of ‘harmful messaging from brands or companies that perpetuate a society that not only enables but praises disordered eating.’
However, the singer later tried to offer an apology.
