Denise Richards finds it ‘distasteful’ her name keeps dragged on RHOBH after her season ten exit

Denise Richards is not pleased that her former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills costars keeps name-dropping her, a year after she left the show. 

The 50-year-old Wild Things star, who was a full-time cast member during seasons nine and ten, it is ‘distasteful’ that she keeps getting brought up. 

‘Denise isn’t thrilled about her name being brought up during the reunion or even this season,’ an insider told Us Weekly on Thursday.

The source added that the mother-of-three ‘believes producers provoked the conversation between Garcelle [Beauvais] and [Lisa] Rinna just to give them something drama-filled to talk about’ this season.

Richards even reportedly joked: ‘Do I get paid for every time my name comes up?’ and she meant it.’   

‘She thinks she should get paid if she’s going to be mentioned,’ the insider revealed of the actress, who fled the show after Brandi Glanville claimed they had a one-night-stand, which Richards has vehemently denied.

Richards, who has been married to Aaron Phypers since 2018, announced her shocking departure from the show in September 2020 after rumors of the alleged affair.

Brandi, who left the reality series in 2015, claimed that she ‘hooked up’ with Denise, while visiting her on a movie set in April of 2019.

In response to those on social media that wondered whether or not she was in an ‘open marriage’ with Phypers, Denise insisted that she is ‘100% monogamous to [her] husband.’

In an interview with Us Weekly, Brandi spoke candidly about her side of the story and her intentions behind revealing the alleged affair.

‘If I was just doing it to make a splash, why would I not have done it last season? Then they would have brought me back full-time this season because they would have had a giant full f**king story line,’ she explained.

The drama surrounding Richard’s love life ramped up the series’ ratings in season 10, with the Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills becoming the ‘top-rated cable program on Wednesday nights,’ according to Variety.

Richards joyously announced in August of 2018 that she would be joining the cast of the popular series, which was made up of Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Erika Girardi, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave and Dorit Kemsley, via a statement to People.

‘I am looking forward to spending time with all the ladies… and hopefully meeting Boy George!!’ wrote the former wife of Charlie Sheen, was referencing Dorit’s connection to the music artist, whom her husband manages.
