Just two years ago, Addison Rae was making TikTok dance routines like every other teen her age, and now she's raising eyebrows at her first Met Gala.
The 20-year-old He's All That actress made an unforgettable entrance as she walked the prestigious Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala red carpet on Monday night wearing a red "vintage 2003 Tom Ford for Gucci" gown which she paired with a neutral smokey eye and a sleek blonde blowout.
But fans were convinced that she'd borrowed the dress from her pal Kourtney Kardashian as it looked almost identical to the one she wore to her family's Christmas party in 2019, just with a couple of alterations.
The dresses were very similar

While the dresses are most definitely similar, they are not completely the same.
Kourtney's gown had a square neckline and horizontal stripes across the bodice, while Addison's has a scoop neckline, straps and diagonal stripes on the bodice.
But that hasn't stopped fans from pointing out the mix-up.
Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Not Addison Rae wearing Kourtney Kardashian's 2019 Christmas party dress to the Met… pls."
Another wrote: "Addison Rae really showed up in the Shein version of Kourtney Kardashian's Christmas party dress."
While a third asked: "Why’d they dress Addison Rae in Kourtney Kardashian’s Christmas dress as if people weren’t gonna notice? They did her so dirty."
Although she is yet to directly address the Kardashian comparisons, it appears Addison took inspiration from a number of stars for her look, as she shared a series of Instagram stories of Marilyn Monroe, Cameron Diaz, Julia Roberts and Britney Spears in red gowns just hours before the event.
This comes as Billie Eilish was seen 'throwing shade' at Jennifer Lopez at the VMAs.
As J.Lo made her way to the stage for a presentation, she was greeted with applause and cheering from everyone in the audience – except Billie, who was seen sitting with a blank expression twiddling her thumbs.
