Lydia with daughter Loretta Rose who is 16 months old
Asked by a fan how she found parenting alone, Lydia answered: “It’s a big responsibility and at times overwhelming.
“Juggling being a full-time mum and working full time. But I am so proud of myself. Raising Loretta is my greatest ever achievement.”
The 30-year-old star, who lives with Loretta in Essex, went on to say: “I look at my little girl and she makes my heart burst.
“She is funny, confident, smart, but most importantly, she is happy.”
Lydia said having Loretta Rose is the 'best thing that's ever happened to me'
Even before little Loretta was born, Lydia said she knew having a baby would be the “best thing that ever happened to me”.
In an interview shortly after Loretta’s birth, she said: “She’ll be my best friend.
“Me and Mum are really close and I love our relationship. I’m hoping that me and my daughter have something just as special, just as strong.”
Describing Loretta as her “whole world”, Lydia said: “It’s just been me and her all along. She’s my whole happiness.
“Any single parent will relate to this – that bond you have because it’s just you two. It’s so special. We’ve been through it all together."
Lydia split from Loretta's father Lee Cronin before she was born
Lydia shot to fame as an original cast member on TOWIE 11 years ago.
At the time she was 19 and was in a relationship with James ‘Arg’ Argent, who she dated on and off between 2008 and 2015.
Viewers delighted at their romance, which included the famous clip of Arg giving Lydia a pet pig called Mr Darcy in an attempt to win her back.
The relationship crumbled and Arg went on to have a relationship with Towie co-star Gemma Collins, but the couple split for good earlier this year.
Recently Lydia has been linked to her ex-boyfriend James Argent
Childhood sweethearts Arg and Lydia remain good friends with Lydia recently admitting they are “extremely close”.
Recent pictures of them at a wedding have prompted rumours they may be about to give it another go, but neither have confirmed a reunion.
