Katie Price has treated son Harvey to a brand new mobility scooter in order to help him get around.

In a new YouTube video, the 19-year-old was surprised with the blue buggy and immediately went off on a trip around the grounds of Katie's mucky mansion in order to get used to it.

While ex glamour model and proud mum Katie looked on, Harvey was soon off on his own, as he took the new vehicle for a spin around the garden.

But Harvey still has a bit of work to do to get used to the gears and steering, with Katie panicking and stopping him just as he was about to drive into a fence.

Thankfully, he managed to swerve it just in time, and soon his younger brother and sister Bunny and Jett were quick to take a look at what he was up to.

Later on, his mum Katie jumped on board with him, driving him around which caused him to panic a little when something clanged.

Katie is clearly making sure that Harvey has everything he could want to live a more independent life, having previously moved him into a residential facility to help him adjust to life now that he is an adult.

Harvey has a number of disabilities including Prader-Willi syndrome, autism and partial blindness, and Katie has been raising him largely by herself. His father, footballer Dwight Yorke, has had little to do with the tot since he was born.

As a result, Katie and Harvey share an extremely close bond, with Katie one of the few people that can control him when the usually mild-mannered Harvey has bouts of rage or frustration.

Recently, she shared a video of damage to his flat caused by anger – with kitchen doors pulled off their hinges and holes in the wall.

The family were spending time at their ‘mucky mansion’ pad in Horsham, Sussex, where alongside Katie’s fiance Carl Woods, they are trying to restore the home to its former glory.

Left in a state of disrepair, Katie previously said that it looked like it had been ‘ransacked’ with major work needing to be done.

The house, bought for £1.3million in 2014, was previously tarnished by intruders months after Katie abandoned the property.

There’s fire damage, water damage, and a partially collapsed ceiling, as well as fly-tipping and damage in the surrounding land.

Neighbours had previously stated Katie had been using the property for storage and had left it with covered with rubbish.

A neighbour exclusively told the Mirror: "I don't think Katie is actually moving back into the house, she's just using it for storage.

"And anyway it's such a mess that it would probably cost her a few hundred thousand just to make the place liveable again.”

Katie later jumped on the scooter as well

In 2018, it was claimed that her house "smells like a petting zoo" and that Katie let her dogs poo inside without cleaning it up.

But fast forward three years, with a new romance, an upcoming wedding, and a new lease of life, Katie is on a mission to make it not only a new home for her family.

It’s also been reported that she plans to turn the home a potential wedding venue in the future, and has even had it exorcised after becoming convinced the house was cursed.

The expansive project is being filmed for a new documentary for Channel 4, with filming starting in June and lasting until at least October.

Katie was seen appearing to move back into the home in June after preliminary renovation work was completed.

She’s since shared an instagram account based on what she hopes the house will look like once the makeover is completed.
