The current series of I’m A Celebrity is well underway.
And in scenes set to air on Wednesday night, Danny Miller, 30, and Simon Gregson, 47, team up for a Christmas-themed trial, titled Santa’s Grotty Grotto.
The Emmerdale actor and the Coronation Street star chew on raw fish eyes before drinking the juice in a gruesome take on the festive treat of mince pies and sherry.
Happy Christmas! On Wednesday night, Danny Miller, 30, and Simon Gregson, 47, are set to team up for a Christmas-themed trial, titled Santa’s Grotty Grotto
Hosts Ant and Dec tell the two soap stars: ‘It’s time for some minced eyes and sherry.’
Ant explains: ‘Inside the mince pies are raw fish eyes. Give them a chew hard enough that you squeeze the juice of the eye out into the sherry glass.
‘Once it’s full you’ve then got to neck it. It’s a star for each of you but only if you finish the glass completely.’
Danny and Simon then pick up a mince pie each and remove the top layer, which reveals a huge fish eye inside, much to Danny’s disgust.
Oh my! The Emmerdale actor and the Coronation Street star chew on raw fish eyes before drinking the juice in a gruesome take on the festive treat of mince pies and sherry
Eugh! ‘Inside the mince pies are raw fish eyes. Give them a chew hard enough that you squeeze the juice of the eye out into the sherry glass. ‘Once it’s full you’ve then got to neck it’ said Ant
Ant asks: ‘Can you see the eyes? Yep, yep?’ before Simon gets stuck straight in and chucks a fish eye into his mouth and begins to chomp down.
Eventually, he pops the fish eye and juice pours out of his mouth and drips down into the filtration system below.
It comes after Frankie Bridge, 32, faced a vile challenge on Tuesday night’s I’m A Celebrity.
The Saturdays songstress was seen in what was arguably one of the most difficult tasks to date as she was spun upside down and doused with rotten fruit and veg.
Ant and Dec spoke to her through the challenge – named The Grim Grinder – in which she was forced to spell the word dauphinois, while being propelled in circles.

Not keen! Danny did not look excited to be taking part in the Christmas-themed challenge
Going for it: Simon gets stuck straight in and chucks a fish eye into his mouth and begins to chomp down
Frankie has so far faced gruelling challenges on the show, including an eating task last week which left fans fearful for her welfare.
It comes after Monday’s instalment of the show which saw Louise Minchin , 53,locked inside a cockroach infested coffin.
The BBC Breakfast presenter was joined by now-axed Kadeena Cox, 30, who tackled snakes during the gruesome Critter-cal Cages.
As soon as the claxon rang, the gold medallist darted into a chamber where she untied keys while slithering snakes swept their way over a wall of shelves.
