I'm a Celeb’s Frankie Bridge – in distress over her row with campmate Naughty Boy – told how she would “love to not have depression and anxiety”.

The pair clashed after the music producer suggested rice was not being cooked properly, before declaring: “It’s not your camp.” It left Frankie, 32, in tears.

She revealed on Instagram Live earlier this year: “I’d love to not have depression and anxiety if that was possible, that would be wonderful.”

The mum of two has been open about her experiences with crippling mental health problems, saying that a combination of medication and therapy had helped her overcome depression and anxiety.

She said of being a mental health ambassador: “I think I’d got to the point where I was like, ‘I can use my platform in a different way and to use it to try and help other people’.

“It’s something I’m the most proud of because it’s something I’ve worked on from the ground upwards and it’s something personal.”

The latest row on the ITV show came as the camp was rocked by Richard Madeley’s sudden departure.

The broadcaster was taken to hospital after falling ill at Gwrych Castle in North Wales in the early hours of Thursday morning – and Covid restrictions mean he is unable to return to the show.
