British stars led the winners at the 49th annual International Emmy Awards held at Casa Cipriani in New York City on Monday.
David Tennant saw his chilling portrayal of serial killer Dennis Nilsen in ITV drama Des score him the Best Performance By An Actor gong at the glittering awards.
The former Doctor Who actor, 50, also scored the Drama Performance award at the National Television Awards in September for his portrayal of the murderer.

The actor beat actors, Roy Nik for his role in Normali (Israel), Nawazuddin Siddique for Serious Men (India) and Christian Tappán for El Robo del Siglo/The Great Heist (Colombia)
British actress Hayley Squires scooped the Best Performance By An Actress award for her role as porn star mother-of-three Jolene Dollar in Channel 4 series, Adult Material.
The four-part series tells the tale of a woman working in the adult film industry – and has drawn acclaim and shock to its graphic sexual scenes.
Completing the Brit triumphs was The Masked Singer UK in the Non-Scripted Entertainment category.

The show has also been nominated for a BAFTA and a National Television Award,
Other big winners on the night included Atlantic Crossing, which picked up the TV Movie/ Mini-Series gong.
It tells the story of Crown Princess Märtha of Norway, who fought for her country and her marriage during the tragic events of World War II.
She is portrayed by Sofia Helin, while Kyle MacLachlan portrays US President Franklin D. Roosevelt in the drama, and Tobias Santelmann is Crown Prince Olav.

French show Call My Agent! – which stars Camille Cottin and Thibault de Montalembert – scooped the Comedy prize at the ceremony, and Israeli spy thriller Tehran won the Drama Series accolade.
