‘Is she spending our money?’ Tom Girardi victim blasts Erika Jayne as she watches her on RHOBH

An alleged victim of Tom Girardi has blasted his estranged wife Erika Jayne as they continue to await the full payment of a settlement owed to them by his former law firm.

Kathleen Ruigomez, whose family is still owed a full settlement by Girardi’s law firm after he represented them when her son Joseph suffered injuries in a gas pipeline explosion, said it had become increasingly difficult to watch Erika on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills.

Speaking with the New York Times, Ruigomez admitted she wondered whether Erika was spending their money whenever they watched her on the hit Bravo show.

Kathleen, who needs the money to pay for her son’s ongoing medical care, told the publication, ‘I do worry about getting paid.’

‘The first few seasons we kind of liked her, but then we began becoming more and more concerned about our money. Is she spending our money? Now she is very unlikable on the show,’ Ruigomez said.

Girardi represented the Ruigomezs against Pacific Gas & Electric and won them a large, undisclosed amount after Joseph suffered burn injuries following a gas line explosion beneath his San Bruno home in 2010.

The family appeared in a recent documentary exploring Girardi’s alleged financial misdoings, The Housewife and the Hustler, where they recounted their experiences working with him.

‘We just didn’t know how much of a snake he was going to be along the way,’ Joe’s sister said on the program.

Girardi allegedly informed the Ruigomezs that the court mandated him to distribute the money to them in monthly payment plans.

However, a mediator for the lawsuit denied Girardi’s monthly payment plan claims as ‘false.’ He also said he was ‘unaware of Mr. Girardi’s actions.’

The Ruigomezs subsequently sued him for the remainder of the settlement.

Girardi agreed to pay them the remaining $12 million in increments, but after the first installment stopped paying them.

‘It’s very disappointing knowing your lawyer basically robbed you, knowing he knows everything you’ve been through. I just don’t get it,’ Joseph recalled.
