Jadon Sancho shirts have already gone on sale with the No 7 despite Manchester United yet to confirm the signing.

The £72.9 transfer is expected to be announced in the coming days with paperwork the only element of the deal that still needs to be completed.

Sancho is poised to sign a five-year deal but there is no indication yet as to what number he will wear.

At Borussia Dortmund he donned his favourite No 7 but Edinson Cavani already wears that number at Old Trafford.

Nevertheless ProDirectSoccer.com have still puts shirts on sale with Sancho No 7. Cavani shirts can also be purchased with the same number.

Jadon Sancho shirts are already available

The Uruguayan penned a new deal back in May and continued to prove his worth at Old Trafford.

It is unlikely he will give up the No 7 shirt meaning the incoming winger will have to select a different number.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remained coy on Sancho's arrival when quizzed after United's pre-season win over Derby.

"From what I understand only paperwork, small little details, hopefully we can announce something," he said.

"Let's get all the paperwork done and get him over the line and then I can say what I truly feel about the player."

The winger's move has not yet been finalised

United are also looking to add more new faces with deals for Raphael Varane and Kieran Trippier on their agenda.

The Real Madrid centre-half has 12 months left on his deal and the Spanish giants are, reluctantly, prepared to let him leave.

Personal terms have been discussed with United as Solskjaer seeks to find a defensive partner for Harry Maguire.

Trippier meanwhile is a right-back option, although his versatility across the backline will come as a plus.

He too has entered the final year of his deal in Spain but Atletico Madrid are in no rush to sell.

Solskjaer has also confirmed that Jesse Lingard is part of his plans moving forward, following a successful loan spell at West Ham last term.

The United boss said: “He wants to fight for his place. He has come back bright, bubbly, loads of energy, confident.

“Everyone saw what he did towards the end of last season at West Ham. He is still in my plans.”
