Both Jamie and Frida have been married before
Their relationship is said to have gone from “strength to strength” after the pair spent lockdown together.
After just nine months of dating, the couple shared the happy news they were having a baby.
A source told The Sun at the time: “Jamie and Frida are absolutely delighted.
“Jamie’s been telling pals he’s really excited to be a dad again – less excited about the sleepless nights and nappy changing.”
But despite having being separated for a while, Jamie remarrying and having another baby so quickly is still said to have shocked his pop star ex, Louise.
The 46-year-old is reportedly “putting on a brave face for the sake of the kids and everyone around her”.
A source told Heat magazine: “Even though Jamie told her it was on the cards, she was blindsided by it happening so soon. She doesn’t understand what the rush was or what they are trying to prove by having a surprise wedding.
“It’s like having to go through the grieving process for her marriage again. It took her years to get over it.”
Louise is now considering giving up her married surname now that Jamie’s new wife Frida has taken the moniker. She already goes by the name Frida Redknapp on social media.
The former Eternal and solo singer is said to be in talks with her management team about reverting her name back to Louise Nurding for her career.
Louise and Jamie were married for 19 years
Jamie and Louise were married for nearly 20 years, but their relationship began to crumble after she appeared on Strictly Come Dancing.
They divorced in 2017 and Louise later admitted being on the show had made her re-evaluate her entire life and made her realise how much she missed performing.
She said she had grown tired of being a “Stepford wife” and was ready to step back into the spotlight, after years of watching Jamie’s entertainment career grow.
Since her split with Jamie, Louise hasn’t been linked to any other men and has said she has no interest in dating or apps.
