John Bishop has been involved in a car crash.
The comedian's Range Rover was left bashed up after being stopped by the roadway barriers after he was forced to suddenly veer off to the side to avoid a collision with another vehicle.
John escaped with no injuries and after the incident posed for snaps with the police officers who attended the scene.
He also uploaded a series of photos that showed the extend of damage done to his car on Instagram, and penned: "I was driving to catch a ferry to Ireland when something happened!! To avoid a car that was swerving to avoid a 'big chicken' as I overtook I ended up like this.
"Nobody was hurt thanks to @landrover_uk being brilliant and no oncoming traffic."
John then informed his fans that he managed to catch the ferry that he was en route to getting on before the smash.
He continued: "I missed my ferry but went on as a foot passenger on a later one thank to James and Tony from @dyfedpowyspolice .
"Amazing how helpful people can be when you need them and thanks to the other drivers for staying including Andrew who I think sadly hit the 'big chicken' anyway ."

Following the update, fans of John's rushed to comments to share that happiness that he was left unscathed by the crash.
One wrote: "John what the heck hit the passenger window? Glad you are ok sir!"
Another added: "Ouch! At least you are ok John! Cars can be mended or replaced."
More echoed: "Blimey! Glad everyone was safe" and "Crikey you may feel that tomorrow !"
Liverpool funnyman John and his spouse Melanie suffered from Covid last year.
The husband and wife received a positive test result on Christmas Day.
John told about his struggle with the illness on Twitter and detailed how hard it was to deal with.

Sharing a snap of an email from the NHS, he wrote to his 3.5 million followers: "This came through on Christmas Day.
"This is the worst illness I have ever had, debilitating headaches, muscle joint and even skin pain, dizziness, nausea, no appetite, incredibly chronic fatigue.
"My wife and I are fit non smokers and it's flattened us. I don't wish this on anyone."
John previously opened up about a past health scare in his memoir How to Grow Old: A Middle-aged Man Moaning.
He detailed a cancer fright in his 40s that had him "contemplating death", after he sought ought an X-ray for answers about a prolonged cough.
The comedian was not hurt from the car smash
"I was told that unless I heard anything, I should regard everything as normal and the cough would go," he wrote.
"I heard nothing and gradually my chest cleared, so I thought no more about it…
"Three months later I received a call saying the results of the X-ray had been misreported by one of the junior staff."
He added: "I spent a few hours alone thinking it could be the start of the end. This is because a Google search of 'shadows on lungs' does not make you believe the prognosis will be good."
Melanie was with John when he got the all-clear, and he continued: "'I put the phone down grateful for the life I had ahead of me."
