Katy Perry will reportedly be guest hosting an upcoming episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show on her 37th birthday.
Headline Planet reports the songstress will be taking over for Ellen on October 25.
And based on the guests set to appear that day, it seems as though the upcoming episode will be embracing an American Idol theme.

Perry, a current judge on American Idol, will be interviewing fellow judge Luke Bryan.
Michael J. Woodard, a contestant who appeared on season 16 of the show, will also be performing.
The site also reports that the show will include a chat with the young winner of a kindness contest.
Katy’s appearance comes several months after Ellen confirmed that the 19th season of her show — which began in 2003 — would be its last.

She announced the end of the series after being accused of fostering a ‘toxic environment’ in the past.
Meanwhile, Katy will be back on a different kind of stage at the end of 2021.
The songstress will be launching her upcoming Las Vegas residency, Play, at Resorts World on December 29.

Outside of her career, Katy and her fiance Orlando Bloom are parents to one-year-old Daisy Dove.
‘1 year ago today is the day my life began… Happy first Birthday my Daisy Dove, my love,’ the singer tweeted on her first birthday.
Perry and Bloom announced the birth of their first child together last summer with a sweet black-and-white photo holding onto their newborn’s tiny hand.
‘We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter,’ said the couple in a statement to UNICEF.
