Kris Jenner is the latest in the Kardashian family to send a beautiful congratulations message to Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker following their engagement announcement.

.

Kourtney, 42, and Travis, 45, have enjoyed a steamy relationship since becoming official in February and the Blink-182 drummer popped the question on Sunday, much to Kourtney's delight.

And now his mother-in-law-to-be has also put her seal of approval on the relationship in an emotional Instagram post.

Kris, 65, shared a selection of sweet snaps of the pair and captioned them: "Congratulations to the most beautiful, adorable, affectionate, fabulous, made for each other couple in the world! Love you guys!!!!!! @kourtneykardash @travisbarker"

She finished her post by including an array of red love heart emojis.

Travis was among those showing their appreciation for the post in the comments section, replying with a simple rose emoji and love heart.

Kourtney's sister Khloe also replied with a string of love hearts, while singer Carole Bayer Sager wrote: "So happy for them x"

The influx of well wishes comes following Travis' decision to get down on one knee on Sunday on a beach. Kourtney's emphatic yes means it will be the reality star's first time tying the knot, while it will be the third marriage for him.

While many were ecstatic over the news, including Travis' children Landon, 18, and Alabama, 15, it appears that one person not taking too kindly to the news is Kourtney's ex Scott Disick.

The Talentless founder and Kourtney split in 2015 after 10 years of dating, and the former couple share three children – Mason, 11, Penelope, nine, and six-year-old Reign.

He is reportedly unhappy with the news with sources claiming he doesn't agree with it.

A source told PEOPLE: "He is not happy about the engagement. Scott never approved of Kourtney dating Travis. He has struggled with their relationship.

"He always had this idea that he and Kourtney would eventually get back together. He was pretty shocked when he found out that she was dating Travis."

During their time together Scott, 38, proposed to the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star on a number of occasions but was repeatedly knocked back.

It was thought that he was ready to propose again shortly before Travis and Kourtney got together.

He later went on to date Amelia Hamlin, 20, but the pair split last month.

Their relationship wasn't accepted by the model's mum Lisa Rinna. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 58, publicly shared her disapproval of her daughter’s romance with Scott and was said to want her to start dating an actor.
