While Kylie did not specify why she would not be attending the show, her famous siblings are likely to be in attendance with Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner both currently in New York, where the show is held.
Both of the women posted Met Gala throwbacks in the lead-up to the big event to their Instagram Stories.

This year’s Met Gala will be unlike any other, with guests – who are rumored to be Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, and Camila Cabello – required to show proof of vaccination before entering.
In addition, the show, which is themed In America: A Lexicon of Fashion this year, has a more pared-down guest list due to COVID-19.
The announcement comes less than a week since Kylie announced she is expecting her second child with Travis.
Since confirming her pregnancy, Kylie has not shied away from showing off her baby bump, in contrast to her first pregnancy with daughter Stormi Webster which she kept secret.
Kylie announced she was expecting baby number two with an emotional video posted to her Instagram account, which she captioned with a heart and pregnant woman emoji.
