Lauryn Goodman's life has changed since becoming a mother in 2020.

The reality TV personality is a single parent to son Kairo Walker following a brief romance with Manchester City footballer Kyle Walker.

And ever since Lauryn ditched the party life for parenting, her maternal instincts have become front and centre – which she proved as she watched every parent's worse nightmare unfold during an outing with her son to Hever Castle in Kent at the start of January.

Things took an unexpected turn while the MTV star, 30, enjoyed the winter outing with her little one.

They were busy taking in the surroundings as a special funfair had been put on at the venue, but things quickly shifted from fun to frightening when a stranger's baby strapped up in a pram submerged into the lake at the castle's grounds.

Lauryn's heart leapt out of her chest as she witnessed the buggy hurtling down the hill into the water while she was snapping a photo of the scenic location.

She then noticed that the father of the two-year-old had not seen the pram rolling away as he had his back to the buggy whilst watching his partner – the baby's mum – enjoying a ride on a Ferris wheel.

Scared to death, Lauryn screamed at the top of her lungs to alert the dad, who upon noticing the accident, ran to pull the pram out of the lake.

An onlooker that saw the events unfold, told the Mirror that Lauryn did not hesitate to help and tried to make her way to the baby.

Explaining how Lauryn did not give helping out a second thought, they said: "Lauryn was about to jump off the bridge to save the baby in her £1500 Moncler jacket but luckily the father heard her screams and turned around."

Seeing the small child in wet clothing, Lauryn ran over to the distraught family and handed over all the supplies she had on her – including son Kairo's spare clothes and nappies – so that the soaked baby was able to get dry quickly.

"She took all of Kairo's clean clothes and nappy to change the baby as the parents were in shock. Lauren didn't hesitate to give over all she had," the witness added.

Revealing that Lauryn's selfless act was well received, they told: "The parents were so grateful for the clothes. The baby was soaking. She saved the baby's life."

The insider went on: "The parents took the baby to the hospital, as she needed to be checked medically. The baby is safe and fine now."

Lauren's son Kairo was conceived while Kyle was taking a relationship break from Annie Kilner.

The athlete shares three other children – Roman, nine, Riaan, five, and three-year-old Reign – with Annie, who he reportedly wed before Christmas.

In the past, Lauryn has slammed Kyle for the way he has treated their son, taking offence when he shared a photo of football boots that had the names of his children written on them – with Kairo omitted.

She fumed at the time: “He is 1 years old. He is an INNOCENT baby. No matter anyone's opinion on me. Kairo has done NOTHING & he does not deserve any of this let alone publicly.”

Lauryn then called upon Kyle to make a public apology to their son Kairo.

"I expect at the very least for Kyle’s post to be removed, the boots to be pulled, a public apology to Kairo Walker, a public statement put out. Going forward if Kyle wants to have his children on his boots he either has them ALL or NONE."

She went on: "Children are meant to look up to a brand. You have been inundated with complaints I have had so many shown to me on DM. I can see them all yet you still sit in silence thinking this will all go away?

"I will fight for my baby boy. I will not have his father who is in the public eye get away with such behaviour," she fired.
