Little Mix fans have branded Nicki Minaj a 'hypocrite' for sticking up for Jesy Nelson amid the ongoing blackfishing row, despite the fact she has previously slammed Miley Cyrus for cultural appropriation.

Fans of the girl group have gone in on the rapper, 38, on social media and are calling her the 'Queen of hypocrisy'.

Nicki has been embroiled in a row with Leigh-Anne Pinnock as she defended Jesy when the Little Mix star appeared to accuse the solo singer of blackfishing in her music video for Boyz.

But fans have pointed out that Nicki called out Miley back in 2015 for a similar scenario, while slamming the likes of Cardi B for her use of black culture.

Superbass singer Nicki previously hit out at Miley in front of a crowd when she collected her Best Hip Hop video award at the VMAs.

She said directly to Miley: "Now, back to this b***h that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press… 'Miley, what's good?'"

Nicki then elaborated on her speech in an interview sometime after, and suggested Miley was guilty of cultural appropriation.

She said: "The fact that you feel upset about me speaking on something that affects black women makes me feel like you have some big balls.

"You’re in videos with black men, and you’re bringing out black women on your stages, but you don’t want to know how black women feel about something that’s so important? Come on, you can’t want the good without the bad."

She added: "If you want to enjoy our culture and our lifestyle, bond with us, dance with us, have fun with us, twerk with us, rap with us, then you should also want to know what affects us, what is bothering us, what we feel is unfair to us. You shouldn’t not want to know that."

Little Mix fans found the situation all too similar as they took to Twitter to criticise Nicki for being a 'hypocrite'.

One person wrote: "Never forget nicki Minaj criticized Miley over black phishing, Queen of hypocrisy strikes again!!"

A second said: "Wasn’t Nicki also the one who went off on Iggy for blackfishing in her last music video, but then shes defending jesy? As if jesy is not doing the same thing? Or when she attacked Miley for being a culture vulture at one point? But now she switching up!? Hum chileee anyways so…"

"Remember when Nicki called Miley out but not Jesy? Lol," a third added.
