In the show's description, it said: "Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock confronts her experiences of racism for the first time."

Alongside the photo he wrote on his Instagram Story: "Anyway. Go watch this documentary again."

"What a backfire," he penned in the next Story, as he appeared to slam Jesy.

It's claimed Leigh-Anne secretly warned Jesy about blackfishing before she quit Little Mix.

The singer reportedly had a word of warning for Jesy about making her skin look darker, telling her it is offensive to black people.

It's also reported that Leigh-Anne fell out with Jesy for using dark fake tan and hairstyles to make it appear that she had black heritage.

The conversation is said to have driven a wedge between the former bandmates before Jesy left Little Mix last December.

A source told The Sun: "Leigh-Anne had a conversation with Jesy, trying to explain why she was upset and why it could be offensive. She felt she had to address it while making her racism documentary, but it apparently fell on deaf ears.

"For Jesy to now claim that it has never been mentioned to her before is really rude.

"It's upsetting she hasn’t taken any of this on board."

Meanwhile, Jesy claims Leigh-Anne quizzed her about her race before the messages were leaked.

In a live Instagram chat with Nicki Minaj Jesy said that she wasn't even wearing fake tan in the Boyz video as she'd just been on holiday.

She went on to say that Leigh-Anne had also asked her before if she was mixed-race because she tans easily.

Jesy said: "Leigh-Anne even said to me in the group 'Are you sure you're not mixed-race because you go darker than me in the sun?'"

The alleged comments by Leigh-Anne didn't sit well with rap sensation Nicki, 38, who went on a huge rant about Jesy's former pal.

Nicki hit out at Leigh-Anne for working with Jesy for almost 10 years in hit band Little Mix before quickly turning against her once she quit.

She said: "Immediately that person has to wear a big red clown nose and big clown boots because you're a big f**ing clown."

The Anaconda singer also said that lots of women get tans and fake lips, and it doesn't mean Jesy is trying to look like she isn't white.

She continued: "There are lots of women out here in the United States that tan, get bigger lips, get all types of s** done to themselves.

"I wear blonde hair, straight blonde hair down to my feet if I want to when I want to, contacts, whatever, I do whatever the f**k I want.

"As long as you're not hurting anybody or speaking negative about anybody's race or culture, you should be able to enjoy your makeup, your body however you want to."

Jesy thanked Nicki for standing up for her and added that it was never her intention to cause aggravation.

She said: "While we're on this subject I personally want to say my intention was never ever to offend people of colour with this video and my song.

"Like I said when I was a young girl this is the music that I listened to, these are the videos I watched and thought were the best."

The Mirror has contacted Jesy's representative for a comment.
