Shannon Singh, the first person to be eliminated from this series of Love Island, has called out contestant Danny Bibby for using the N-word and still being allowed to stay in the villa.
In an Instagram post in 2019, Danny was seen to use the slur, which has resulted in a variety of people speaking out against his inclusion in the show.
In a now-deleted post from November 2019, Danny responded to a friend who commented on a picture of him in Dubai.
The original comment read: ‘Champ’, with Danny replying: ‘My n***a.’
Shannon is one of the most recent people to comment on the situation, expressing her disappointment in his inclusion in the dating show.
‘The interesting thing is that there is a tweet that went viral that said, “The producers really kicked Shannon out in less than 24 hours for entertainment but can’t kick out the man who used a racist slur, ok” and I think they have a point,’ she told the Daily Star.

She added: ‘I think it’s very interesting that the first girl he took on a date was Kaz. Honestly, I don’t know what’s going on with it this year.’
Shannon was the first person to be dumped from the villa in a shock recoupling that took place after a surprise twist.
Chloe Burrows was the first bombshell to enter the villa, and she was tasked with picking one of the boys to couple up with. She chose Aaron Francis, who Shannon was with, which meant Shannon was sent home.
While fans were upset to see her go, Shannon now says that her leaving has since worked out for the best.
‘I thought Liam was fit, but he’s a bit boring. Teddy isn’t my type and Danny isn’t my type – not a chance. It was a blessing in disguise I think,’ she said.

Danny was recently allowed to apologise from inside the villa for his past use of racist language.
He said: ‘I’d like to take the time to apologise to anyone that may have taken offence to my inappropriate remark.

‘I never meant anything malicious by this comment at all. I am not a racist person and it’s unacceptable language and ignorant. I meant no offence and feel like I have really learnt from my mistakes and will never use that word again.
‘I am a kind loving person and hopefully you get to see that in the show.’
Love Island continues tonight on ITV2 at 9pm.
