‘They think she has the full package, brains and beauty, and could bring a lot to the table. Kat really impressed and she should be a shoe-in for the show.

‘She used to date Marty from Geordie Shore so is no stranger to a bit of the limelight. Getting onto Love Island will be a huge boost for her though and will show off her credentials in her own right.’

It comes after it emerged show bosses were reportedly lining up stunning actress and influencer Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu to appear on the upcoming series of the show.

The Turkish social media sensation is followed by a host of celebrities on Instagram with the likes of TOWIE’s Pete Wicks and James Lock, and reality star Wayne Lineker among her web audience of 345,000.

Ekin-Su, who splits her time between London and Istanbul, and has appeared on television series Kuzey Yildizi in her home country, will set foot in the villa when the show launches on Monday 6 June, according to The Sun.

Beautician Sophie Draper was also reported to have been signed up to appear on Love Island.

The make-up artist dated Aston Villa right-back Matty Cash for four years before they went their separate ways last year.

Earlier this month it was claimed the ITV2 show’s new sexy, young cast were just days away from filming the advert, with the promo teasing the programme’s longest ever instalment.

A source told The Sun: ‘The schedules are being put together now and fans can expect a long, hot summer of fun from the villa from June 6.

‘Filming for the promotional adverts is beginning in the next couple of weeks and the ads will start in May.

‘This series is going to be the longest ever and it’s from a brand new location so it’s all very exciting.’

A representative for ITV told MailOnline at the time: ‘It’s too soon for us to confirm the schedule.’

It comes after Love Island bosses confirmed they were on the lookout for a new villa in March, following swirling speculation among viewers.

Contestants on the show have filmed at the same Majorcan property for five years, however producers have started hunting for a new space on the island in a bid to spruce up the show.

Kevin Lygo, ITV’s managing director of media and entertainment, told PA Media how the ‘marvellous’ new mansion will make for a ‘great’ eighth series.

He revealed of the sprawling property: ‘We didn’t own it. We rented it and we are choosing a new house for this summer so that is all secrecy.

‘It is going to be marvellous. Yes, it is going to be in Mallorca. It is going to be a great one [series].’

Series one and two of Love Island was filmed at a property in southern Majorca’s Santanyi region before being moved to the current location of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar in the north-east.
