Megan Thee Stallion puts her gym-honed body on display in Nike campaign

Megan Thee Stallion has showcased the results of her grueling training in a new Nike ad chronicling her fitness journey.  

The video sees Megan, 26, ignoring the naysayers telling her she isn’t a real athlete despite her workout routine which sees her train five times a day and perform in front of an audience of 50,000.

Megan put her gym-honed body on display as she ran through a thunder storm, did weight lifting in the desert, and took part in a 12 hour dance rehearsal.

‘It’s ya girl Megan Thee Stallion aka the Hot Girl Coach and I know I make this all look so easy but this didn’t happen overnight,’ Megan tells the camera. ‘Before I became Thee Stallion I was a young girl in Houston just trying to find her way.’

The songstress recalled hearing the opinions of others back in her hometown, advising her to take up basketball, volleyball, and track. But none of them were a fit.

‘I tried them all but they just weren’t for me. I knew I had to find my passion and do what made me happy.’

Next a coach is seen smirking, ‘But I wouldn’t call you an athlete.’

‘Oh really? Let’s see you run through 12-hour dance rehearsals. Train five days a week. Then perform in front of 50,000 people squatting 50 percent of the time. People like to tell us what we can and we can’t do, but we ain’t hearing that. Real Hot Girls know, no one can define us but us. So Hotties, you ready?’

‘I’m sharing my fitness story to let you know sport is whatever ya want it to be,’ Megan captioned the video. ‘Dance is my sport. Rapping is my sport. Performing is my sport. Chiming in: Stallion recalled the many suggestions she received from people from her hometown, advising her what athlete to pick up

The songstress sizzled in a series of snaps taken from her Nike campaign, which captured her flashing her gym-honed body in a variety of skimpy outfits.

Whether she was rocking a cheerleading uniform or skimpy sports gear, the Hot Girl Summer hit-maker looked incredible. 

‘Thee Mf HOT GIRL COACH @nike,’ she captioned the shots.  

Reflecting on her fitness journey, the songstress told Nike: ‘I love my body, first of all. That’s number one. I’m curvy, I’m thick, I’m tall. But I definitely want to make sure I’m keeping myself healthy, mentally and physically.’ 

Nike’s NTC app also features workouts with Megan and Nike Trainer Tara Nicolas.

‘I like the fact that Hotties get to see me go through my struggle,’ she told the site. ‘It’s realistic for you to want to give up. It’s realistic for you to not want to eat this today. It’s just really about discipline.’
