After Spice Girls, Mel continued a solo singing career which saw her release the hit single Never Be The Same Again with TLC member Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes.

Her singing career has continued to this day, with the songstress set to embark on a solo tour next year.

‘I was due to tour this Spring, but it was postponed to January next year. I’ve got a few dates in UK and Europe, fingers crossed we’ll be able to do it,’ she said during a recent appearance on Lorraine.

On top of her music career, Mel is also a busy working mum to daughter Scarlet, 12.

Despite the pandemic, Mel has remained busy reuniting with the Spice Girls for a deluxe edition of their debut album Spice in honor of their 25th anniversary.

Set for release on the 29th October and curated by the band themselves, it brings together the original chart-topping album with some of their favourite bonus tracks and B-sides, along with previously unreleased recordings from the Virgin archives.

A collection rich in highlights, the album includes their four UK No.1 singles as well as a variety of remixes.

Speaking of the release, Mel C said: ’25 years, wow! I have so many wonderful memories of writing, recording, promoting and touring this album and so many people to thank.’
