Mrs Brown's Boys star Fiona O'Carroll has announced that she has split from her co-star husband Martin Delaney.
The star, who played Maria Brown, discussed what happened to the former couple's long-term marriage.
Fiona and Martin (Trevor Brown) share four children together and were childhood sweethearts who tied the knot in 2006.
She explained how the two met when they were really young and he is 'all she had ever known'. The two 'kind of grew apart'.
“We wanted different things," Fiona explained. "I still have a lot of love for him and I only want the best for him and I think he feels the same way about me.
“There were no major fights, and nobody else was involved but it was a case of not being on the same page any longer.”

She tried her best to 'hang on' to the marriage as long as possible as there was a 'lot of hurt' from when her parents split up.
Her father Brendan and her mum, Doreen, were married for 22 years before they had a very public split in 1999.
Fiona explained to RTE Guide: "I think I hung on for as long as I did because when my own parents broke up, that was very public, and there was a lot of hurt involved there."

“For me, as a child, coming from a broken marriage, I didn’t want that for my kids."
However, the star went on to say how happy her parents are now.
Fiona and Martin tried to make their marriage work 'for years' but, in the end, they both decided it was the end of it.

“I felt that I needed to be a role model for my kids and as much as they weren’t happy about us splitting up, they are OK actually, because with myself and Martin, our main focus is the kids and we didn’t actually tell the kids until we were almost a year separated," she added.
The two share children Felix, 14, Eli, 12, Isaac, seven, and Dexter, six.
Fiona resides in Ashbourne, Co Meath, while Martin lives in Portugal, but still stays in the home in Ireland when he visits.
