Nadine Coyle reflected on her last week after losing her friend Sarah Harding to breast cancer at age 39.

Tragic Sarah died last week, with her mum taking to the singer's Instagram to announce the heartbreaking news.

Days after the loss, Nadine, 36, took to her social media to share a few throwback pictures of the two together.

The spiritual star admitted she was thinking of her friend constantly and asked her 'to visit' anytime.

"One week without you!! Thinking of you all day everyday & trying to imagine how your new journey is going," she wrote.

"Please feel free to come visit me anytime. I know lots of people will want some Sarah spirit time so I can wait my turn.

"I hope you now know how much you are loved & how you impacted so many lives by being wholeheartedly yourself."

Nadine continued: "Always an inspiration, always a shining light & always my friend!!"

Sarah had undergone gruelling treatment to beat the cancer, including a mastectomy and intensive chemotherapy since first being diagnosed in summer 2020.

In March this year, she broke the news that her cancer had spread to her spine and she knew she was dying.

Sarah's mum told fans that her "beautiful daughter Sarah" had passed away last week.

She wrote: "Many of you will know of Sarah’s battle with cancer and that she fought so strongly from her diagnosis until her last day.

"She slipped away peacefully this morning. I’d like to thank everyone for their kind support over the past year. It meant the world to Sarah and it gave her great strength and comfort to know she was loved."

"I know she won’t want to be remembered for her fight against this terrible disease – she was a bright shining star and I hope that’s how she can be remembered instead," she added.

In Sarah's book, Hear Me Out, the star opened up about how she was a "mess" when she was told the devastating news.

Sarah said she spent the evening with Nadine, crying and drinking wine, as Nadine told her how much she loved her.

When there was a brief break in lockdowns back in December 2020, Nadine even travelled up to Manchester to see Sarah.

Girls Aloud were formed as part of TV talent show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 but after years of in fighting over work schedules and different personal lives the group split for good in 2013.
