Nicki Minaj slammed Leigh-Anne Pinnock over the messages she allegedly sent about Jesy Nelson.

The rapper appeared on an Instagram Live with Jesy on Monday night to discuss their new song Boyz and Nicki went on a rant about the story that Leigh-Anne urged an influencer to do a video slating her for "blackfishing".

Jesy has been criticised by people who have accused her of darkening her skin and wearing wigs to look like a black or mix-raced person in the video for Boyz.

Nicki addressed Leigh-Anne's alleged messages in the broadcast, calling her "jealous" and a "clown".

Jesy also defended herself against the allegations once again, saying she didn't mean to offend anyone and that the idea that she did "really hurts".

Jesy and Leigh-Anne appear to have fallen out

Nicki hit out at Leigh-Anne for working with Jesy for almost 10 years in Little Mix and turning against her once she quit the band.

She said: "Immediately that person has to wear a big red clown nose and big clown boots because you're a big f**ing clown."

Nicki also said that lots of women get tans and fake lips, it doesn't mean Jesy is trying to look like she isn't white.

She continued: "There are lots of women out here in the United States that tan, get bigger lips, get all types of s** done to themselves.

Nicki called Leigh-Anne 'jealous'

"I wear blond hair, straight blonde hair down to my feet if I want to when I want to, contacts, whatever, I do whatever the f**k I want.

"As long as you're not hurting anybody or speaking negative about anybody's race or culture, you should be able to enjoy your makeup, your body however you want to."

For much of Nicki's rant, Jesy stayed quiet and nodded along.

Nicki accused Leigh-Anne of deciding to speak out about Jesy's image now she has a song out that is doing well in the charts.

She went on: "Sweetheart take them text messages and shove it up ur f**king a**, because when you do clown s**t I gotta treat you and talk to you like you're a clown."

Nicki continued: "It screams insecurity, it screams that you're jealous, only jealous people do things like this and now you just look like a big jealous bozo."

Jesy then took her turn to speak, saying: "Thank you babem honestly that really means a lot.

"While we're on this subject I personally want to say my intention was never ever to offend people of colour with this video and my song.

"Like I said when I was a young girl this is the music that I listened to, these are the videos I watched and thought were the best."

She continued: "I just wanted to celebrate that era of music because it's what I love, my intentions were never ever to offend anyone.

"It does really hurt me that I may have offended people and hurt people's feelings by genuinely celebrating things that I love."

Jesy claimed that she wasn't even wearing fake tan in the Boyz video as she'd just been on holiday.

She even claimed that Leigh-Anne once asked her if she was mixed-race because she tans easily.

Jesy said: "Leigh-Anne even said to me in the group 'Are you sure you're not mixed-race because you go darker than me in the sun?'"
