Nicolas Cage shaves his head BALD in first look image from upcoming western Butcher’s Crossing

His best known role saw him switching faces with John Travolta’s character in 1997 action classic Face/Off. 

And Nicolas Cage has made quite the transformation in his latest role.

The  57-year-old actor looked every bit the rugged action man as she showed off a new look including freshly shaven head in a first look photo from upcoming film Butcher’s Crossing which was first published by Deadline.

As the talented star is filming in Montana, he bundled up in a large brown animal fur coat as his new look included a goatee.

Under his fuzzy outerwear Nicolas sported another jacket over a denim shirt.

In the film, Nicolas portrayed a buffalo hunter named Miller.

Interesting: According to the synopsis from IMDB the film is a frontier epic – which takes place in the 1870s – is about an Ivy League drop-out as he travels to the Colorado wilderness, where he joins a team of buffalo hunters on a journey that puts his life and sanity at risk, Cage is seen in Santa Monica back in February 2020

Back in the day: This is not Cage’s first time in the western genre as her starred in neo-noir thriller Red Rock West which was released in 1994

The film was written and is being directed by Gabe Polsky who was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in 2011 for his work as producer on His Way in the Outstanding Nonfiction Special category.
