Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has reassured "fantastic" Donny van de Beek that he will be given more first-team minutes in Manchester United's upcoming fixtures.
Van de Beek moved from Ajax to Old Trafford for an initial fee of £35million in the summer window.
The 23-year-old came off the bench to score on his debut for the Red Devils – the 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace – but is yet to be handed a start in the Premier League.
Van de Beek has played just 61 league minutes across four substitute appearances, while his two starts have been limited to the Carabao Cup.
But Solskjaer insisted minutes are imminent for the Netherlands international as he lauded the midfielder after the 4-1 win over Newcastle.

"He'll get his game time. He's been fantastic in the group," Solskjaer said. "I think you see today and in training, he's so neat and tidy, I don't think he lost the ball once.
"It's about finding the balance in the team. We've won 4-1 today and you're asking why I didn't start one of the players. He'll have a very good impact on the team."
Van de Beek came off the bench in the 76th minute during the win over the Magpies, replacing Daniel James with the scores level at 1-1.
His introduction helped United grab three late goals to pick up their second league win of the season, with Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Aaron Wan-Bissaka on the scoresheet.

Harry Maguire also netted for the Red Devils, cancelling out Luke Shaw's own goal in the first half.
Solskjaer was pleased with the performance of his rotated team, with midfielders Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic dropped to the bench after the 6-1 thumping by Tottenham a fortnight ago.
The United boss added: "The boys came together really well. They are looking forward to every game. Today I rested a few and they have come on and done the business for us."
