Phillip Schofield is blocked by Boy George’s hat AGAIN at Kelly Hoppen’s party

He was left in stitches when he struggled to see the stage during Adele’s comeback concert.

So it was no surprise that Phillip Schofield was furious when his view was once again blocked by Boy George’s large hat as they attended Kelly Hoppen’s CBE Party on Monday.

The This Morning presenter, 59, shared a playful snap where he struggled to see past the music legend’s famous hat, along with the caption: ‘Not again!’

It came just a day after he confessed he’d been forced to crane his neck to see past his signature bowler when he attended An Audience With Adele earlier this month.

The presenter found himself sat in front of Schitt’s Creek star Catherine O’Hara, but unfortunately placed behind the former Culture Club frontman and forced to crane his neck around his huge blue bowler hat.

Boy George, 60, was branded ‘inconsiderate’ by Twitter users for the outfit choice, yet he soon hit back by tweeting: ‘I’m getting an even bigger hat so I can cast a big shadow over dull people with no style!’

Eagle-eyed viewers noticed poor Phillip trying his best to see Adele from behind the large accessory and took to Twitter to point it out.

‘How raging was @Schofe that Boy George’s big head (hat) was in front of him? Nothing worse #AnAudienceWithAdele,’ laughed one follower.

Another echoed: ‘@Schofe I’d be annoyed at someone wearing a huge hat on the row in front of me too. Boy George! Really.’

A third added: ‘We caught the last ten minutes and only saw the hat from a distance. I said “I bet that’s Boy George in the hat! Poor bugger whoever’s sat behind him!”‘

However, Phillip laughed the incident off, retweeting a picture of him leaning round Boy George to see the stage with a string of cry laughing emojis.

Meanwhile Boy George responded again by tweeting out an article about the event and writing: ‘Ha. What a load of utter sh**e. Been wearing hats since 1982 and been to a zillion f***ing shows! Grow up!’
