Yet again Greg James has found himself locked in a small space and needing Radio 1 listeners to help break him free.
The Breakfast host was pranked by fellow BBC chums Jordan North and Vick Hope, believing he was going on a sunny, summer road trip only to find himself locked in a campervan.
That’s right, he’s in an escape room…on wheels.
Forced to host his morning show from the campervan marooned on Blackpool Pleasure Beach, before it gets on its way and hits the road with him inside, the only way out is for Greg to enter the correct word into a keypad.
Breaking the news to Greg, Vick appeared on The One Show on Monday night where host Alex Jones confirmed: ‘This is officially a stitch-up.’
Now with 15 hours of campervan confinement under his belt, Greg has been given but a few clues in the form of songs that are somehow linked together, which so far have proven unsuccessful.

From ‘Fish And Chips’ to ‘Ice Cream’ and ‘Happy Place (or plaice?!)’, Greg attempted to release himself from the van while hanging out the window to host his BBC show today.
The password attempt of Happy Place was not successful and, unfortunately, also, Jordan confirmed earlier ‘why hello Jill’ isn’t the recipe to break free, like it was his previous escape room prank.
‘I am 50% furious and 50% full of respect, I just didn’t think anything horrible would happen in this year,’ he told Jordan and Vick on Tuesday morning.
‘On the day that England was unlocked, you locked me in.’
It’s the latest in a very long string of pranks pulled on the morning show DJ, who has so far been locked in many a tight space all in the name of our entertainment.
Following the 2020 Brits, he was kidnapped from the afterparty and placed in a room which he spent the next 48 hours trying to break free from – before it was revealed his captors were Mollie King and Alan Carr.

The mystery of Greg’s whereabouts all began when he didn’t turn up for his breakfast show on Radio 1, after heading to the Brit Awards. Adele Roberts had to fill in for the DJ on Wednesday morning and called him a ‘dirty little no show’, while Greg’s wife Bella Mackie revealed he’d never made it home.
The plot thickened when Greg revealed he’d been taken and in the biggest game of ‘guess who’, fans desperately tried to work out who was behind his kidnapping in order to get him out.
That followed an earlier escape room prank, which had Greg break free after 31 hours locked inside a teeny tiny studio, where he slept, ate, and hosted his show.
With the help of listeners, Claudia Winkleman, Jack Whitehall and, oddly, celeb chef Ainsley Harriott (of ‘why hello Jill’ fame), Greg was finally able to escape.

After earning his freedom, the presenter said of his ‘ordeal’: ‘[That was] even worse than climbing Ben Nevis, and I hated doing that more than anything in my life.
‘That was ridiculous and I’m so pleased I’m free, I can finally work out where I am, what my life is all about again.’
Sorry to say that wasn’t the end of his escape room days. At least this time he has a window…
