Reese Witherspoon shoots scene with Jimmy Kimmel’s nephew for rom-com film Your Place Or Mine in LA

When she’s not putting in the hard work as wife and mother of three, Reese Witherspoon is trying to live up to the high praise and accolades she’s received as an acclaimed actress and producer in both film and television.

And in recent weeks, the Oscar and Golden Globe winner has been focused on her latest role for the upcoming romantic comedy film Your Place Or Mine, which has Ashton Kutcher playing the leading man role.

But on Wednesday, the Louisiana native was spotted shooting a scene in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles with her young co-star Wesley Kimmel, who happens to be the nephew of late night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel.

The glam squad on set had her blonde tresses styled long and flowing to about the middle of her back, with added soft waves and a part in the middle.

As the cameras rolled, the actress had a serious and focused look on her face, while she walked down some outdoors stairs, alongside Kimmel, carrying a bag over her right shoulder and a brown leather purse on the other.

But it didn’t take long before she transitioned from her serious look to her trademark, infectious smile.

Kimmel looked like your typical pre-teen dressed in black pants, a grey hoodie, black sneakers, while carrying a backpack on his shoulders.

The child star showed a comedic touch when he rolled his eyes towards Witherspoon during a take of their scene on the stairs. 

The child star made his first foray into acting as The Baby Bachelor, a spoof on the reality competition series that originally ran for six episodes as a bit on Jimmy Kimmel Live! in 2013.

In the upcoming film, Witherspoon and Kutcher play best friends, living across the country, whose lives are upended by a real estate decision they make,  Deadline reports.

Along with Witherspoon, Kimmel and Kutcher, the cast also includes Jesse Williams, Tig Notaro, Zoë Chao, Steve Zahn, and Geoffrey James, among others.

Aline Brosh McKenna, who’s best known writing The Devil Wears Prada, is making her directorial debut with the project. She also wrote the screenplay and is serving as a producer with Witherspoon. 

The mother of three has a full schedule of late when it comes to work, including the release of season two of her Apple+ series The Morning Show; a voice role in the upcoming computer-animated musical comedy film Sing 2 that drops on December 22; and her producer role for the drama film Where The Crawdads Sing, which is slated to debut June 24, 2022.

Witherspoon has had a full schedule in recent times. Season two of her hit Apple + series The Morning Show with co-star Jennifer Aniston premiered last month.

She’s also serving as producer for the drama film Where The Crawdads Sing, which is slated to debut June 24, 2022.  

Plus, it was announced that her Hulu series Little Fires Everywhere with Kerry Washington is now in development for s second season.

And she’s got a voice role in the upcoming computer-animated musical comedy film Sing 2 that drops on December 22. 

There’s also been talk of Witherspoon reprising of her iconic role as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde 3, although nothing has been solidified in terms of a script and cast.
