Rosanna stepped out as ambassador of the Green Aware campaign, joining celebs Baz Ashmawy, Kathryn Thomas, Davy Fitz and Donncha O’Callaghan.

This September 18, on World Clean Up Day, the team at GreenAware are challenging their brand new star-studded Green Squad to be leaders in sustainability with their Be Part of Something Bigger Challenge.

GreenAware is all about making simple swaps to make going green in your home as easy as possible, offering a wide range of sustainable everyday household products.

These include products that are 100% natural, 100% compostable and 100% plastic-free.

The range includes everything from Compostable Gloves and Bamboo Dish Cloths to Natural Fibre Bottle Brushes and Natural Sponge Scourers.

Donncha O’Callaghan, who co-presents 2FM breakfast with Doireann, Donncha and Carl revealed his wife is happy to get the house to herself early in the morning.

He said: “I have to get up that little bit earlier when I’m not, but I’m really enjoying it.

With a 2.30am wake up call, it leaves little time for romance in the 42-year old’s life.

He added: “I think with four kids Jenny’s quite happy with the peace and quiet.”

Donncha admits rugby helped him prepare for the early starts.

He added: “I don’t mind the early starts, I’m kind of used to it from rugby, you’d have to be in the club every morning from 6am.

“You know you’re getting back to normality when you see people who are still out, as you’re going to work.

“You know what I love about it, they think you’re the weirdo, they’re like what’s he doing on a bike at whatever time it is.

“In rugby you just have to get your body there, but you have to be sharp especially when you’re hanging around with Doireann and Carl, they’ll rip me to bits if I’m not.

The dad-of-four said his kids are teaching him about sustainability.

He said: “Our kids are at school and they really do open our eyes to being more responsible and looking at sustainability.

“My little girl Sophie has been brilliant helping me get up to speed in being more green aware and making small differences.

“A big one for us at the moment is the dog and the poo bags.

“My parents' generation didn’t know, maybe a bit of ignorance on their part, but we know full well now.

“Our kids are looking to us to say come on yee have to do more.

“We know from sport, little changes the whole time lead to making a big difference."

“Croke Park had 40,000 over the weekend, I think they’ve done a fantastic job, we’ll look at other aspects opening up because of it.

“Live Music is looking at bigger crowds and maybe seeing how the GAA have done it.

“I don’t think we’ve had any major trouble from it, it could lead to further things coming down the road.”
