Stephanie Davis has spoken out after her boyfriend Joe Mckalroy revealed she was in the hospital.
The Hollyoaks actress, 29, thanked her partner on an Instagram post for being her 'absolute rock' while she spent time in hospital due to a mysterious illness.
Previously, Joe posted a now-deleted photo of the couple holding hands on Instagram – Stephanie can be seen in the snap wearing an NHS bracelet.
At the time, he had failed to provide any context as to why she was wearing the bracelet and simply captioned the picture with a red heart emoji and no words.

After fans became concerned with Stephanie's condition due to the cryptic post, she shared a picture of a bunch of flowers that she had received and thanked everyone for their ongoing support.
She also made to sure to praise her lover by sharing a clip of them together with the message: "So grateful to this one, my absolute rock'.
Another image was shared featuring her son Caben-Albi, who she had with former boyfriend Jeremy McConnell, with the caption: "My beautiful two, so blessed to have them both. My beautiful family."
It comes following an incident a few months ago where Stephanie was used to hospital after falling down a flight of stairs only a few days after undergoing boob job surgery.
Talking about the incident at the time, she said: "Just fell down the last few of my stairs and went backwards on my arm and the pain was horrible after surgery! Feel sick. Hope my stitches are OK. Need to rest more that's me done for today, need to go way slower."

Despite the concern around her stitches, Stephanie came out of the incident relatively unscathed and was seen going out with Joe the next day.
The couple got together recently, following Stephanie's split from Oliver Tasker, and she has since described him as the 'love of my life'.
In a heartfelt snap of the two posing together, she said on Instagram: "My person. I honestly can't even describe the love I have for this one.
"Just to belly laugh every day and be with my best mate who's the love of my life is the best feeling in the world. I Can't wait to explore the world with you."
Stephanie has previously experienced heartbreak before partnering up with Joe.
Previously, she was dating Oliver for six months, but the pair split up after experiencing private issues together.

The soap star was pregnant with their child before she tragically had a miscarriage and was told her " pregnancy was no more".
A heartbroken Stephanie said to her followers at the time: "I know one day I'll get my happy ending but for now, I just have to get through this."
Before dating Oliver, she was in a relationship with Hollyoaks' Owen Warner.
After just one month, the pair moved in together, however, their relationship ended after nine months due to things "moving too quickly".
