Carl and Lindsay first met in 2017 when he was wildly single and she was in a relationship with their housemate Everett Weston.

The pair attempted to turn their friendship into something more serious in season four, but neither were ready.

‘Lindsay’s and I’s relationship has grown immensely in the last year because of my sobriety and where I’m at. Things have gotten more romantic,’ he said.

‘We’ve been super close, we’ve been best friends,’ he said. ‘We started the show together.’

‘We talked the same language. We get each other,’ Carl said. ‘I mean, we make each other laugh like crazy. I’ve never felt more myself around someone than her. And for me, that’s powerful.’

Carl said that Lindsay makes him feel ‘capable’ and she’s been a ‘huge support’ for him through the years.

When it came to the idea of another wedding after viewers finally get to watch Amanda Batula walk down the aisle and marry the man of her dreams, Kyle Cooke, Carl admitted he wasn’t quite ready yet.

‘I guess we’ll have to see. I mean, our lives are the same as they are on camera as they are off,’ he said. ‘If the camera happens to catch something like that, I’m sure the audience would love that.’

New house guests arrive in Montauk where Paige DeSorbo, Danielle Olivera, Luke Gulbranson and Ciara Miller will join Southern Charm stars Austen Kroll and Craig Conover, in addition to newcomers Mya Allen, Andrea Denver and Alex Wach.
