Rebel Wilson opened up to her fans in an emotional live chat on Instagram which left her tearful as she spoke about her weight loss.
The 40-year-old Pitch Perfect actress fought back tears as she discussed her "year of health" which has seen her lose three stone in weight.
Speaking about how she decided that enough was enough with her body, Rebel said that she didn't treat herself with "love and respect" over the years.
Rebel said during her candid chat: "I would wear my weight as a bit of a barrier, so people wouldn't get close to me."
Tears formed in her eyes as she added: "It's hard when I talk about the emotional stuff… it's hard. I can do this.

"I wasn't valuing myself, and telling myself negative things. That was hard.
"I'm trying to change those patterns, so you're more loving and treating yourself with respect.
"I'm working on self love, and that's a hard concept to master."
The Australian actress said she has only previously reached this, her lowest weight, when she had malaria.

She said: "I was at my skinniest when I had malaria when I almost died, when I came out of hospital everyone was like 'Wow what did you do?' I almost died…"
Rebel admitted that one of her main driving factors for getting in shape this year was that she wanted to freeze her eggs, in case she wanted to start a family in the coming years.
She said: "I was thinking about fertility and having good quality eggs in the bank, so I was like – OK, I'm going to do this. I'm going to get healthy."

Rebel said that hiking has been a big factor in her coming down from just over 100kg when she started to less than 75kg (165lbs or 11.8 stone) now.
On Sunday, she proudly announced that she had reached her goal weigh with "time to spare".
