Vick Hope and Tom Hardy attend Venom: Let There Be Carnage screening

Vick Hope wowed on the red carpet in a sheer blouse, but it was Tom Hardy’s dog who stole the show at the fan screening of Venom: Let There Be Carnage on Tuesday.

The presenter, 31, looked stunning as she flashed her toned midriff in the sheer number at Cineworld in Leicester Square, London, while actor Tom, 43, cut a casual figure in a yellow T-shirt and jeans.

Yet while Tom opted for a low-key look, his adorable dog Blue ensured all eyes would be on the actor as he hit the red carpet.

Former model Tom looked comfortable-yet-stylish in his bright Fred Perry T-shirt , teaming it with a pair of colourful New Balance trainers.

Earlier on, Tom was also seen sporting a bright crimson hoodie – but it wasn’t long before he removed it after the bright lights on the red carpet made him too hot.

The Hollywood star put his previous modelling experience to good use, gazing over his shoulder at the flashing cameras.

Blue was extremely well-behaved on the red carpet, sitting patiently in front of Tom and posing for pictures.

The screening comes as the release date for the movie was pushed up two weeks from October 15 to October 1.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage follows Tom Hardy’s character Eddie Brock, a.k.a. Venom, who tries to revive his career in journalism by interviewing serial killer Cletus Kasady.

Much like Eddie, Cletus becomes host to an alien symbiote, and transforms into the villainous Carnage.

Michelle Williams returns as Anne Weying in the sequel, along with Reid Scott as Dr. Dan Lewis, with new cast members including Naomie Harris and Stephen Graham.

The Sony Pictures sequel was originally scheduled for release on October 15, though there were rumours they were pushing it to January 22, 2022.

However, the studio decided to go the other way and capitalize on the buzz swirling around the movie and push it up two weeks to October 1, via Deadline.
