Will Smith grabs some lunch with David Letterman as they film an interview

Will Smith caught up with famed late night talk show host David Letterman on Thursday afternoon.

The 53-year-old actor and 74-year-old late-night legend caught up over lunch at Carney’s Restaurant on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood.

They were both filming an interview, presumably for Letterman’s Netflix series My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, though a fourth season of that show has yet to be publicly confirmed.

Will was spotted blowing a kiss to the fans, rocking a dark blue zip-up turtleneck under a black leather jacket.

He also rocked black pinstripe pants with black boots for the lunch outing with Letterman on Thursday.

Letterman has filmed three seasons of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction for Netflix, which debuted in 2018.

The first season featured interview guests such as Jerry Seinfeld, Barack Obama, Malala Yousafazi, Jay-Z, Tina Fey and Howard Stern.

Netflix renewed the show for a second season that debuted in June 2019, with guests Zach Galifianakis, Kanye West, Ellen DeGeneres, Tiffany Haddish, Formula One race car driver Lewis Hamilton and Melinda Gates.
