The singer recently wowed crowds when she performed at Manchester Pride weekend – and unveiled a brand new look.

Fans will remember Lucy’s dark hair and more conservative clothes when she appeared on X Factor nearly 10 years ago.

A decade on, she has ditched her brown locks for blonde and took to the stage wearing a bright blue suit and white crop top.

Lucy revealed August marked two years of sobriety following years of using booze to “bury my problems’.

Now she’s back looking better than ever – and with a healthy mindset to match.

Sharing a candid before and after post with her 170,000 Instagram followers, Lucy wrote: “I’m back on the road in two weeks, starting with a sold out show in Leeds on 25th Oct.

“Last time I was on tour was October 2019 (pre-covid) and I was 3 months sober. I was absolutely cacking myself being on tour whilst sober. I’d never tour without drinking.

“I’d always celebrated a show with a beer (and then another one, and then another one, then a whiskey etc…) then inevitably woke up with the beer fear.

“It was so weird adjusting to the new way, the sober way.

“The music industry is surrounded by alcohol (and drugs), from the early parts of your career being paid in ‘beer tokens’ in bars, to later on, where your rider has whatever you want on it.

“Well, we traded in the whiskey for red bulls and put some alcohol free beers on the rider.

“It was one of the most enjoyable tours I’ve ever done.I connected with my crew, the people attending the shows, I remembered (most of) the words to my songs, and I had less anxiety in general.

“I cannot wait to be back at it – more than two years sober!”
